i’m planning to buy camcorder.. sony minidv-dcr-hc38 vs. panasonic sdr-s7k camcoder? what do you think is ok?
which is do yuo perfer… a panasonic camcorder that saves in Memory stick or a sony that saves in mini dv?

I would take a standard definition miniDV tape based camcorder for video quality over a standard definition flash memory camcorder pretty much any time. The flash memory file storage is to a very highly compressed MPEG2 file. MiniDV tape DV is pretty much no video compression.
digital video compression = discarded digital video data = reduced video quality.
