just save the video to ur pc and then upload the m2ts video to youtube and automatically itll convert after you upload it ..dont use the HD writer it only helps to save it onto the computer
Try the Canon Legria HF range. They have very sensitive image sensors. Or if you like Panasonic, the TM300 but they will cost you more.
nevermind I guess you answered that question already. Which HD camera can take good videos in low light conditions?
Does it take good videos in low light conditions?
Yes. If you need a highly portable camcorder and will use it in good lighting conditions will low background noise then it’s fine. If you want great still photos then look elsewhere.
Would you reccomend this camera? Does it take good pictures too?
Another good program is FFMPEG, it runs great on Mac, if you happen to run Mac
Not true. Other brands have the same issues. It’s the Panny software and YouTube itself that’s the problem. You can upload the raw HD file using YouTube’s own website uploader but YouTube screws up the file during compression. See my jerky Redjet 4 video. I had to replace the sound. But if you convert to mp4 or .mov like my cannons video, it’s fine.
Then this is a useless piece of shit!
No, not without a third party file conversion program. HD Writer is good for basic editing before conversion but its YouTube uploader is only good for smooth SD video. SUPER is good for free watermark file conversion after editing.
So then. There is no way to actually upload an EDITED HD video using this camera?
yeah, all the single chip hdc range are crap in loe light conditions.. but you cant have everything.. apparently.:(
Yep, I read part of the problem is that there’s no encoding standard for avchd files so Panasonic files are slightly different rorm Sony and Canon. Makes it harder for youtube to convert. mp4 & .mov are best for me.
your right my uploaded HD vids look all slow motion and stuttering audio.. dammit youtube FIX IT !
A couple of my ferry videos are the raw avchd files. Youtub’s compression system doesn’t handle them well raw (true for Panny encoded avchd) and so there’s a warping visual effect and the sound gets ruiined as well. I added music to them instead.
why didnt you upload it staight in HD ? AVCHD
I’ve got this camcorder and low-light recording is fine. I think people are comparing it to the machine’s daylight footage, which I think is excellent.
Hi there. This video was uploaded using the HD writer software’s built-in YouTube uploader which came with the camcorder. It’s mpeg2 so no HD but the vidoe is smooth.
My HD videos were converted these three formats – avi, mp4 and mov and uploaded using the Youtube’s own uploader.
I use the freebie Super and Adobe Premiere Elements to convert.
thank you for the video.
may I know which format you convert it and upload to youtube?
Thanks for that. That vid was shot indoors, late afternoon, grey skies outside. The 37″ TV does give off a fair amount of light of course but yes the low light performance is not as awful as some say. Also the Panny youtube uploader does videos no favours.
Will have more interesting vids to post next week.
Cool. I’ve been reading that low-light recording is rubbish with this model but your video looks fine, so thank you for uploading this video.
